 EquinoxTM
Silicone Putty Products are new super-fast set silicone
compounds (platinum catalyst) that can be easily mixed and applied by
hand to a variety of surfaces. EquinoxTM
Putty is mixed in equal amounts (1A:1B) by volume. Pot life is
about 1 minute with a cure time of about 7 minutes at room temperature
(72oF / 23oC).
Shrinkage is low and cured rubber is exceptionally strong (very high
tensile strength), durable and will resist high temperatures (for
casting low-temperature melt metal alloys). They also resist cure
inhibition.

 These
putties were originally developed for equine hoof repair
applications, supporting a ligament in the hoof until it can
heal. We are also selling these products to a number
of orthopedic/prosthetic fabric for different
applications. Jewelry makers use the putty to make
fast impressions for casting high temperature waxes.

can also make fast mold impressions from almost any
surface. Rubber will reproduce perfect detail,
but you have to work fast (see
frame repair sequence).
Ferriers
use EquinoxTM putty to support fallen ligaments
until they can heal. Right: Area is
